Some people worthy of praise, admiration, and your business are the good folks at Red Bird Photography out of Waco.  The photographer Nikki Rhodes has an unbelievable talent.  If a regular photo is worth 1000 words, then one of Red Bird's photos is like a Proust novel.

Nathan Brown is a poet, professor, and perennial vagabond.  I'm not quite sure how he feels about alliteration as a literary technique; however, his poetry is amazing and is more than worthy of your attention.  Go to his page, check out his events, buy his stuff, and invest some time in getting to know this man.  If this thing we call a website/magazine takes off, we're going to get him to write for us, at least a couple of time.
